| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is the healthiest, most versatile unprocessed dietary oil in the world. Our Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is made from organically grown coconuts and is an excellent cooking oil. It contains Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) which the body metabolizes quickly, converting the fats to energy rather than storing them as fat. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is a stable, healthy saturated fat that does NOT elevate "bad" (LDL) cholesterol. We think it is simply the best tasting, most aromatic coconut oil on the planet! Health Benefits of Coconut Oil Coconut oil has been used as a cooking oil for thousands of years, and is still a staple in the diets of many people living in tropical areas today. It was once popular here in the United States as well, until shortages of imported oils during WW II created the need to promote local oils like soybean and corn oil. Soon, polyunsaturated fats became the norm in this country; and with it came a rise in obesity, higher cholesterol levels, and degenerative diseases related to aging. Coconut oil has been shown to reduce the symptoms of digestive disorders, support overall immune functions, and to help prevent bacterial, viral and fungal infections. Studies have shown that the amount of unsaturated oil in the diet strongly affects the rate at which wrinkled skin develops. Taken internally and used topically, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is effective at slowing down that process.

| Customer Reviews: Say goodbye to all other oil! September 1, 2007 Ian Bitner (CT, USA) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
My wife convinced me to stop using cooking oils and butter and try extra virgin coconut oil. After much reluctance, I did and am so happy that she convinced me to do it.
Coconut oil is an excellent substitute for butter when pan frying or sauteing. I've replaced butter in recipes with great success as well.
This product has great flavor, but does not overpower as one would expect. If you need to lower your cholesterol, this is the way to go!!
Great to cook with December 21, 2008 Vanessa J. Morris (Philadelphia, PA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is great coconut oil. I now use this oil exclusively for all of my cooking needs. It has a nice mild flavor that enhances everything I cook. I am very happy with this product and will continue to purchase it.
excellent product June 12, 2010 bard 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This coconut oil absorbs into the body without leaving a "layer" like I experience after eating butter with my bread. I feel good after I eat it. My boys and I eat it straight from the spoon. I use it as a butter replacement. It has only a slight coconut flavor. My friend who reccommended it to me gargles with it because it is "anti" bacterial, viral and yeast.
