The Frigidaire FAD504DUD 50-pint Dehumidifier is an Energy Star Compliant 50-pint per day dehumidifier capable of continuous operation when the unit is located near a suitable drain.

It features full-function electronic controls, an easily accessible collection container with level indicator, and a washable filter that removes both moisture and airborne particulates. The integrated casters allow you to move the unit easily to wherever it's needed.

How It Works

When the unit is started, the fan begins to pull moisture-laden air across the dehumidifying coil. The coils condense or draw moisture from the air and air flows through the side louvers into the room as dry, warm air. Moisture removed from air is collected in a bucket on the front of the dehumidifier.

You have the option to continuously drain your dehumidifier. This way, you don't have to worry about emptying the water bucket. Simply place the dehumidifier near a drain to discharge the water into. Then, screw a garden hose onto the threaded portion of the drain connector in the dehumidifier, and direct the hose toward the drain. Finally, select the desired humidity setting and fan speed on the unit for continuous draining to start.
